Cadillac Sixteen
Geneva 2003
The European Premiere for a supercar.
The Cadillac Sixteen,
built in the tradition of the 1930 Cadillac V16.
16-cylinders, 13'600cm3
(!), 1000hp
Based on an aluminium space frame.
Danger for Maybach, or Rolls-Royce?
I don't think so.
It's only a concept-car.
And Cadillac equipped the engine with "Displacement
On Demand", it's interesting, it's high-tech,
BUT it's not a symbol of luxury, when your 16-cylinder-engine
only uses 4 cylinders, when you are driving slowly,
or waiting in front of a traffic light. (O.K., 4-cylinders
of this engine show 3400cm3...)
The styling shows several typical Cadillac details, like the lights, or the entire rear design, that's Cadillac.
