Stutz Blackhawk 1974
# 2J 57W 4P 267155
This car was delivered to Underwriters Auto, an American Stutz dealer.
During the years, the original brown color had changed into rust-brown...
In August 2001, Bengt Dahlgren, the owner of a 1971 Blackhawk discovered the car in Sweden.
Quite obviously, something had to happen to save this
car!
So Bengt bought the car...
Minor problems had to be solved, to bring the car with its own power to Stockholm.
Within one month, the car was able to be driven again!
Bengt Dahlgren found out a way to increase the value of the car...
... he refilled the tank!
;o)
Home sweet home.
The first investments were done, a wool blanket and
an Elvis-mascot, but there is still a lot to do.
The Elvis mascot was very popular, because of an Audi
TV-spot.
Bengt started the restoration.
In July 2002, he traded this car for a 1966 Ford Thunderbird.
